Gute Frage! Eine genaue \u00dcbersetzung gibt es nicht. Auf Google habe ich verstanden, dass die deutschsprachigen Menschen meistens Omelette meinen. Obwohl es sich um ein in Italien sehr verbreitetes Gericht handelt, habe ich festgestellt, dass der Unterschied zwischen Frittata und Omelette oft auch hier nicht klar ist.<\/p>\n<p>Zu den Zutaten der <b>Frittata <\/b>(z.B. Zucchini oder Zwiebeln, eventuell zuvor gekocht) wird Eiercreme hinzugef\u00fcgt. Die Frittata wird als Ganzes gewendet und bleibt flach bzw. nimmt die Form der Pfanne. Sie hat eine kompakte Konsistenz, da sie als Ganzes gewendet wird. Ausserdem ist die Frittata ein herzhaftes Gericht.<\/p>\n<p>Die <b>Omelette <\/b>wird anders zubereitet. Die Eiercreme wird in die Pfanne gegeben, man l\u00e4sst sie etwas fest werden. In der Zwischenzeit f\u00fcllt man sie mit ausgew\u00e4hlten Zutaten (z.B. K\u00e4se und Schinken) und faltet es dann zusammen, um die Zutaten einzuschlie\u00dfen. Die Omelette hat also die Form einer gef\u00fcllten Tasche und ist in der Regel weicher als die Frittata.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Woraus_besteht_eine_Frittata\"><\/span>Woraus besteht eine Frittata?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Zur italienische <strong>Frittata<\/strong> sind Eier die Hauptzutat. Sie kann mit vielen verschiedenen Zutaten angereichert werden, die durch die Eier zusammengehalten werden: Gem\u00fcse, Speck, Kartoffeln usw. Wenn Sie darauf achten, ist es eines der italienischen Gerichte, das am h\u00e4ufigsten in Filmen vorkommt (ich erinnere mich z.B. an Bridget Jones 1).<\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr Italiener ist es ein einfaches Gericht, so sehr, dass man von jemandem, der nicht kochen kann, sagt: \u201eEr\/Sie kann nicht einmal eine Frittata zubereiten!\u201c Es ist ein allt\u00e4gliches, fast banales Gericht, da es in wenigen Minuten fertig ist. Im Ausland, vor allem f\u00fcr Amerikaner, wird die Frittata hingegen zu einer Spezialit\u00e4t der italienischen K\u00fcche, fast schon raffiniert, die man in Gesellschaft bei einem Glas Wein genie\u00dft. Ein exotisches und besonderes kulinarisches Erlebnis.<\/p>\n<p>Die Besonderheit der <strong>Omelette mit Auberginen, Zwiebeln und Waln\u00fcssen<\/strong> liegt in der Zubereitung. Das rohe Gem\u00fcse wird nicht in Scheiben oder W\u00fcrfel geschnitten und erst gekocht, sondern mit den Eier gemischt und dann im Ofen gebraten. Ich wei\u00df nicht, wie viele von Ihnen das schon einmal versucht haben&#8230; Professionelle K\u00f6che schaffen das mit der gleichen Leichtigkeit, mit der ich eine Flasche Wein \u00f6ffne. Eine Hobbyk\u00f6chin hingegen braucht Mut, Engagement, die richtige, gut gefettete Pfanne und eine nicht zu schwere Frittata, um diesen Schritt zu wagen. Erfahrung hilft dabei. Manchmal ist es mir gelungen, aber oft wurde aus der Frittata R\u00fchrei.<\/p>\n<p>Ich begleite das Rezept f\u00fcr die Omelette mit Auberginen, Zwiebeln und Waln\u00fcssen mit einem <strong>Zitat von Pellegrino Artusi<\/strong> (<i>Von der Wissenschaft des Kochens und der Kunst des Genie\u00dfens,<\/i> Erstausgabe 1891), Feinschmecker und Mitbegr\u00fcnder der italienischen K\u00fcche:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eWer wei\u00df nicht, wie man Omeletts macht?
